All wines on board are carefully stocked in a wine climate cabinet. It cools down in summer and generates heat in winter so the wines are always served on the right temperature.


We love the good things in life and wine is one of them! A friend of ours used to say: "Bad wine? A waste of your thirst!". We totally agree on that point of view.


This is why we only carry biologically or biodynamically produced wines.


Preferrably from enthousiastic, small scale, wine producers.


We carry wines on board starting from great and up.


These are the wines that we always stock on board of the Lieve in the climate wine cabinet. Different wines can be served to go with a particular menu or dish. Virtually anything is possible.




 Gaba Do Xil

Our house wine. Spanish prize winner. Made by the famous Spanish wine maker Telmo Rodriguez.

Broad and aromatic taste with an after-touch of exotic fruit. Combines great with spicy fish dishes and a lot more.


 Bucci Verdicchio Classico Superiore.

Italy, Marche area. Typically straw coloured. Dry with minerals, spicy accents and a hint of apple. Light acidity with an after-touch of smoked almonds. Perfect in combination with fish and Pecorino style cheeses. A beautiful, stylish and correct Italian.


 Viré Clessée Domaine Michel

France, a white Burgundy from a small corner of the Burgundy area; Quintaine. 100 % Chardonnay harvested from at least 50 years old grapevines. NOT lagered on wooden barrels but in stainless steel. This makes it a variety of this typical Burgundy which shows a surprising freshness without the heavy wood taste. Dangerously nice wine!  One of our personal favourites.




House wine: Torre Del Falasco

Used grapes are: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. This is the typical Valpolicella cepage. Made 'ripasso'  style. This is a technique in which grapes that were used for Amarone production are mixed with the cepage and one more time give their typical fruity, velvety cherry taste to this wine. Thus producing a wine tasting more complex than one would expect in this early stage. Everybody loves this one, really!


Cuvée Les Ardoises des Erles uit de Fitou

French wine as it should be. A cepage of Carignan, Syrah and Grenache. Full bodied, red fruit, spices and wood tones. Soft tannins and a long after-taste. Made by a member of the famous wine makers family Lurton; Francis.


 Araucano Clos de Lolol

Red top of the bill wine from our assortment. Cepage is Cabernet Franc, Carmenere and Syrah. Complex taste with undertones of ripe fruit, pepper, liquorice, leather and spices. A lot of smooth tannins. A truly powerful red wine from Chili, also produced by Francis Lurton. Begs for a big piece of red meat.




Champagne De Venoge Cordon Bleu

 Made according to the typical cepage of 50% Pinot noir, 25% Pinot meunier and 25% Chardonnay. Pale yellow, fine mousse. Soft and smooth nose with hints of white fruit, brioche, minerals and light oxidation tones In your mouth it presents smoky minerals and apple. Not too sweet and with a nice after-taste.


 Bollinger Special Cuvée

The classical top of the bill champagne! James Bond's favourite. Bright and pale yellow coloured with a golden core. Copious and complex aromas. Toasted with a hint of oxidation; very typical for Bollinger. Famous for her fine and classy mousse. Full of character and elegance. The good life bottled, uncork it!
